2005 incentive giving campaign winners announced.
Congratulations to the North Dakota Music Teachers Association (NDMTA), Alaska Music Teachers Association (AMTA) and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) for winning the MTNA FOUNDATION FUND State Incentive Giving Campaign. The campaign is based on individual members giving to the FOUNDATION FUND during the preceding calendar year.Categories 1 and 2 are based on the percentage of members contributing. NDMTA won Category 1, with the highest percentage of members making a gift: 25.99 percent of its members contributed during 2004. In Category 2, 18.42 percent of AMTA members made a donation of $25 or more. Categories 3 and 4 are based on dollar amount contributed. In Category 3, CAPMT members gave $8,309 to the general fund. In Category 4, CAPMT members contributed a total of $7,874 to the general fund and endowment funds combined.
State associations rounding out the top five in each category are Alaska, Nebraska, Utah and Maine (Category 1); Wyoming, Delaware, Hawaii and Nebraska (Category 2); Texas, Ohio, Alabama and Pennsylvania (Category 3); and Pennsylvania, Texas, Nebraska and Ohio (Category 4).
The MTNA FOUNDATION FUND thanks all the state chairs and others who work diligently to promote and support the FOUNDATION in their states.
