2005 award winners announced.

BALTIMORE -- The Rosen Group selected four new artists from the United States and Canada for the 2005 Merit Award winners in February for the 2005 Philadelphia Buyers Market of American Craft. This award is designed to help emerging artists enter the wholesale market successfully. To enter the contest, artists must be new to the wholesale marketplace and have innovative design ideas, creative works and market viability.

The awards went to Chris Dahlquist in mixed media; Jennifer Bauser in jewelry; Takuya Tokizawa in glass; and Greene Pottery Works in ceramics. The winners received free booth space for both the February and August shows. Buyers Market of American Craft shows attract more than 2,000 exhibitors.
