200 prisoners released in KP on occasion of Eidul Fitr.

PESHAWAR -- More than two hundred prisoners charged in minor offenses have been released from different jails on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in Khyber Pakthunkhwa. The Prison Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released the prisoners on the directives of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Yahya Afridi on humanitarian ground on the occasion of Eidul Fitr. The District and Session Judges and Judicial Magistrates visited different jails and after examining facts and record of the cases ordered release of over 200 inmates charged in minor offenses.
