By Jhon Aldrin Casinas

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Friday accredited two new Transport Network Companies (TNCs), adding to the eight already serving the riding public.

LTFRB granted the "Certificate of Accreditation" to Aztech Solution International Corporation and RYD Global Inc.

Their accreditations are effective for two years from Dec. 5, the date of approval.

Commuters can avail of the services of the two new ride-hailing companies through "Snappy Cab" mobile app of Aztech Solution and "RYD Global" app of RYD Global Inc.

The certificates of accreditation were signed by the LTFRB chairperson Atty. Martin Delgra III and LTFRB Board Member Engr. Rolando Corpus, and attested by the LTFRB Executive Director Atty. Samuel A. M. Jardin.

The LTFRB did not say when the new TNCs will launch their mobile applications.

TNCs are companies operating ride-hailing and ride-sharing mobile apps.

There are now eight TNCs accredited by the LTFRB -Ipara Technologies and Solutions, Inc.; Hirna Mobility Solutions, Inc.;Hype Transport Systems, Inc.; MICAB Systems Corporation; E-Pick Me Up, Inc.; GOLAG, Inc.; Aztech Solution International Corporation; and RYD Global, Inc.
