2 Kara-Balta stadiums to purchase artificial turf for $88,000.

Artificial turf for $88,613 will be purchased for the Kara-Balta town Manas sports complex, the Japanese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan reports on January 28.

The signing ceremony of the grant contract under the "Project on laying artificial turf on the football field in Kara-Balta" within the framework of the grant program "Small-Scale Grant Assistance in the Sphere of Culture" of Japan government will be held on January 31 in the Kara-Balta mayor's office.

The grant contract will be signed between the Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Yoshihiro Yamamura and the Secretary General of the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan Mederbek Sydykov.

The event will also be attended by the mayor of Kara-Balta Daniyar Shabdanov, members of Kara-Balta local council.

"Laying artificial turf on the Kara-Balta football field will help improve the quality of training future football players and will be motivation for Kyrgyz youth as well as will strengthen Japanese-Kyrgyz bilateral relations," the statement said.
