2 ANA soldier killed in Taliban ambush.

QALA-I-NAW: (PAN): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed during a Taliban ambush in northwestern Badghis province, officials said on Monday.

The attack took place in the Akazai area of Bala Murghab district late on Sunday, the Badghis deputy police chief told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Col. Ghulam Nabi told Pajhwok Afghan News the soldiers were ambushed on their way to the district centre. The assailants made good their escape.

A tribal elder, Ziauddin, said: "The soldiers, who were going to a mechanic's shop in the district centre for fixing the vehicle, came under ambush."
