1994 DODGE RAM AND 1995 PLYMOUTH/DODGE NEON NAMED POPULAR SCIENCE 'BEST OF WHAT'S NEW'

 NEW YORK, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Popular Science magazine today singled out the 1994 Dodge Ram full-size pickup truck as one of 10 Grand ward winners in its sixth annual "100 Best of What's New" review. The magazine also selected the 1995 Plymouth/Dodge Neon as one of the 100 honorees.
 The products are selected by the magazine's editors as the 100 most significant products representing the greatest achievements in science and technology in 10 categories: auto technology, aviation and space, science, computers and electronics, cars, photography, recreation, home technology, environmental technology and audio and video.
 The Grand Award is the fourth kudo this year for the Dodge Ram full- size picup. MOTOR TREND magazine named it "Truck of the Year," 4Wheel and Off-Road selected the Ram as its "4x4 of the Year" and Home Mechanix magazine named the Ram "Easy Maintenance Truck of the Year."
 Ram production began this past July at the Dodge City Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, Mich.
 The Neon, Chrysler's all-new small car entry, will go on sale in January 1994. Production began Nov. 1 at the Belvidere (Ill.) Assembly Plant.
