1936 Centennial Edition to be reproduced by Texas Almanac.
The Texas Almanac has entered into an agreement with the William P. Clements School of Southwest Studies at Southern Methodist University for the reproduction of the 1936 Centennial Edition.
The 1936 almanac originally celebrated the state's 100th year of independence and the reproduction will include a new introduction, foreword and table of contents. In addition the special edition also includes a reproduction of the original two-sided colour map that appeared in the original edition.
Only 300 copies of the reproduction will be produced, of which 250 are available for sale to the public. Copies can be ordered at http://www.smu.edu/swcenter/Almanac.htm.
