19 Ramzan Bazaars to be set up in Faisalabad.
FAISALABAD -- The City District Government decided to establish 19 'Ramzan Sasta Bazaars' during holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak in various parts of the district for providing essential items to the people on controlled prices.
Chairing a meeting here Wednesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Shahid said that all necessary arrangements are being completed rapidly to organize 'Ramzan Sasta Bazaars' in a most befitting manner and to provide fruits, vegetables, pulses, flour, sugar and other kitchen items to the citizens at subsidized rates.
He said that Agriculture Department, Waste Management Company, Parks and Horticulture Authority, Utility Stores Corporation, Livestock Department, Agriculture Extension, Labor Department, Market Committee, Water and Sanitation Agency, Health Department, Civil Defense, Parking Company and Town Municipal Administration have also been directed to accelerate their efforts for finalizing plans up to May 13 in this regard.
The Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras would also be installed in and around Ramzan Bazaars besides deputing necessary security force to provide safe and secured atmosphere to the stall holders as well as customers, he added.
