Guildford

Treat - afternoon tea in a princess carriage.

For all the little princesses out there, this one is for you.

Customers at this beautiful tearoom can enjoy afternoon tea in a charming life-size golden vintage Cinderella-style princess carriage.

There's nothing quite like tucking into warm homemade scones and endless pots of tea on a leisurely afternoon and the secret cafe hidden above House of Fraser in Guildford offers all of that and more.

As well as full traditional afternoon teas, the menu features lots of other delectable delights including homemade cakes, sandwiches, hot dishes, breakfasts and allergy friendly items.

You can turn up on the day for a standard table, but if you want to sit in the royal carriage you will have to book in advance.

Godalming

Treat - llama trekking and an overnight glamping experience.

Llama trekking is a truly unique, once in a lifetime experience and you can do it at a charming 16th century pub called Merry Harriers.

Guests can enjoy an English picnic trek, a winter morning trek (which includes lunch back at the Merry Harriers), a luxury champagne picnic trek, corporate team-building events or even a children's party trek.

Farnborough

Treat - go karting.

If you've got a daredevil in the family, how about taking them go karting?

There is a double decker driving experience at TeamSport with an impressive 800m track.

Thrill seekers can enjoy two levels of go karting action as they take on the crazy corners and rapid straights on the fast and furious track.

There is also a cafe on site serving the likes of pizza, nachos, hot dogs and jacket potato as well as a range of drinks and snacks.

There are cadet carts for ages 8+ and adult carts for ages 13+.

All drivers aged under 16 years old, must have an adult over the age of 18 to sign them in.

Chertsey

Treat - VIP theme park package.

Thorpe Park is one of the country's most popular theme parks and it's no wonder why.

Daredevils can sit on the front row of one of the rollercoasters and enjoy more than 30 thrilling rides, attractions and live events.

Treat - Keeper for the Day and Feed The Penguin experiences.

The 26-acre park is home to hundreds of birdsincluding penguins, plus there is a farm on site called Jenny Wren Farm.

There is an aquarium called Underwater World which is an added extra included in the price of your entry ticket. The park can be hired out for birthday parties and events.

The park offers the ultimate experience for an animal lover, the 'keeper for a day' experience.

This is designed to give people a real understanding of the work involved in looking after animals at Birdworld. It is suitable for those aged 16+.

Drivers will experience challenging corners, hair-raising hairpins and speedy straights at Daytona.

This unique family theme park is located just over the border in Berkshire near Windsor Castle.

Children aged 2 -12 can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety.

The resort features more than 55 interactive rides, attractions, live shows, building workshops and driving schools, not to mention a staggering 80 million Lego bricks, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.

Camberley

Treat - trampolining.

This will certainly wear the kids out, as it has 50 interconnected trampolines of all shapes and sizes, blocks, boxes and angled trampolines that let you literally bounce off the walls.

There are three slam dunk basketball lanes with trampoline launch pads that will allow you to gain some serious air before lining up the perfect dunk.

There is also a huge foam pit that contains more than 6,000 purple and yellow cubes of foam, plus two giant tumble tracks that are eight times the length of your standard Gravity Force trampoline.

You must be four years or over to jump in the Gravity Jump Sessions, however toddlers of walking age and over can attend a Gravity Tots session and Family Jump Session.

Treat - adopt an animal.

Located just outside the county in Hampshire, this zoo is certainly worth the trip.

The 140-acre park has a train, five adventure playgrounds and is home to hundreds of animals including giraffes, tigers and penguins.

The perfect gift for animal lovers, youngsters can choose from a huge selection of furry, feathery and fanged critters to adopt.

Designed for children up to 16 years old, each adoption includes a cuddly toy of their adopted animal, one child day ticket and other benefits.

Guildford

Treat - zip wire adventure.

If your family is into adventure, they can go on a zip wire in the trees at this exciting attraction.

Located next to Stoke Park, it challenges you to negotiate rope bridges and wobbly crossings high up in the trees like a modern-day Tarzan.

You're attached by safety harness and clips so if you put a foot wrong, you'll just hang there.

For children aged between six and 12 years, there is a Wild Kids route with bridges, logs, zips from tree to tree, cargo nets, wobbly things and a climbing wall traverse.

For older children there is Extreme Wild featuring rope bridges, tightropes, climbing challenges, feindish obstacles and ziplines reaching up to 15 metres above the woodland floor.

Egham

Treat - hotel package.

This family friendly hotel is located right next to the River Thames offering lovely waterside views.

Outdoors there is a children's play area to keep kids entertained all day long, plus a swimming pool reserved for hotel residents and members.

Indoors there is another swimming pool and child friendly bedrooms.

On arrival, your little ones will receive a Runnymede goody bag, complete with colouring pack and soft toy.

The hotel can also provide boys and girls with board games, seed for the ducks and even theme-park overnight packages for the whole family.

Treat - day out at a farm.

Llamas, goats, sheep, ducks and pigs are the stars of the show at this farm based just outside Godstone village.

There is also the chance to ride a tractor and plenty of other indoor and outdoor activities including a huge play barn, where adults can enjoy a cup of tea while the kids let off some steam.

On site there is a tea room, gift shop, cafe and ice cream shed in case you get peckish.

Treat - escape rooms.

This farm is the home of creating unique entertainment experiences.

Tulleys Escape is a live escape room which sees groups enter a game scenario with friends or family for an hour and solve a series of puzzles and mysteries.

Players will need to search high and low for clues and work together if they want to escape.

There are three challenging themed rooms to test groups from two to eight people.

While there is no restrictions on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 12. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

There is a licensed bar and lounge on site.

As the season changes the Farm is transformed for Halloween with a Scream Park and Christmas with Santa visits.

In addition, visitors can indulge at Tulleys Tea Room which serves a range of hot and cold food, cakes and drinks, open nearly every day of the year.
