135 Years of Brewing ... A Tradition for Quality

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Pittsburgh Brewing Company, a Pittsburgh tradition since 1861, celebrates l35 years of quality brewing with a commemorative 135th Iron City Anniversary Pilsner Beer.

The 135th Iron City Anniversary Pilsner will be available the week of November 18 in 12 oz. long neck bottles and produced in a very limited quantity. A total of 12,500 cases, which equates to 1/4 of a normal brew, will be produced for Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.

"As the newest owner of Pittsburgh Brewing, I have been entrusted with this heritage for quality and distinctive flavor," said Joe Piccirilli. "We have crafted this richly satisfying beer with pride, hard work and vision just as all of our original brewmasters since 1861."

Pittsburgh Brewing Company, one of the country's oldest operating breweries, has honored the traditional, successful recipes that served early Pittsburghers while continually introducing new products to meet the diverse and growing demands of following generations in Pittsburgh as well as all over the nation.
