132 hooligans arrested, dozens motor vehicles impounded.

ISLAMABAD, August 14, 2010 (Frontier Star): Islamabad police has arrested 132 motorists and impounded dozens of motor bikes in Police Stations. Sources said that large number of motorbike riders bothered the Islamabad police on the night between Friday and Saturday with the help of police squad and ACP vehicles and made arrest of 132 hooligans and dozens of motorcycles have been impounded. In this respect police impounded several cars and other vehicles which were loaded with hooligans who were hurling fire crackers on the roads and were bothering the citizens. While Main Blue Area was declared as No Go area, despite that several revellers ride motorbikes on blue area road. Several squads and teams of officials have been deployed. While Police has already started crack down against the hooligans who drive motorbikes speedily and dangerously, who not only put themselves at stake but also others. It has learnt that even in the presence of police officers the revellers opened fires in air, however, police was unable to tackle the situation. Later, officials have blocked all roads of the city by placing concrete blocks.
