Residents of Los Angeles Country in the State of California, US are set to benefit from the activation of thirteen new cell sites in the area to expand coverage and increase capacity across the local network.

The sites, located in Carson, Downey, Granada Hills, Los Angeles, Pico Rivera, Rosemead, San Pedro, Santa Clarita and Santa Monica, offer increased capacity and expanded access to the Internet and are part of Verizon's continued investment across its network.

Verizon Wireless is a joint venture between Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) and Vodafone (NYSE:VOD) (LSE:VOD).
