112 firms named in the inquiry; OFT CONSTRUCTION PROBE.

The Office of Fair Trading has issued a statement of objection to the firms involved in the investigation which gives notice of a proposed infringement decision under the Competition Act 1998.

The companies now have the opportunity to make written and oral representations in response to the case set out by the OFT. Their representations will be considered before any final decision is made.
