11 drug peddlers among 19 criminals overpowered in Karachi.
KARACHI -- Sindh Rangers on Sunday claimed to have arrested 19 suspects, including 11 drug peddlers, from different parts of the metropolis. According to a Rangers' spokesman, Rangers carried out raids in Saudabad, Darakshan, Defence, Clifton, Baloch Colony, Mauripur and Docks areas and arrested 11 drug peddlers. During crackdown on street criminals, the rangers conducted raids in Gaddap town, Baloch Colony, Mauripur and Docks areas and apprehended six street criminals. Police and rangers in a joint raid in New Karachi area, detained two criminals, Waqas alias Choha and Mohammad Harash alias Qadari. The ranger also recovered weapons, drugs, snatched mobile phones and contrabands from their possession. They were handed over to police for further legal action.
