10 km-long Bangalore Tollway inaugurated.

The consortium of Soma Enterprises, Nagarjuna Construction Company and Maytas Infra has completed the Bangalore Elevated Tollway project on Bangalore-Hosur section of National Highway (NH)-7. BETL, a special purpose vehicle formed by the consortium has built the section from Silk Board junction to Electronic City junction on BOT basis for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The 9.99 km long four lane, two way elevated highway has been built with an investment of Rs 765 crore. BETL has also developed the six-lane divided main carriageways with reinforced cement concrete (RCC) storm water drain, eight pedestrian underpasses and 16 bus bays and shelters.
