NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-November 10, 2011--William Demant books high growth rates in Q3 2011, maintains full-year guidance(C)2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

10 November 2011 - Danish hearing-aid maker William Demant Holding A/S (CPH:WDH) said today it had experienced high organic growth in the third quarter of 2011 and reiterated its full-year forecast.

In spite of the world economic turbulence and the weak consumer confidence, the global hearing aid market experienced decent unit growth and the company's business remained unaffected, William Demant said.

Without disclosing any interim financial figures, William Demant retained its projections that its full-year growth in the wholesale of hearing aids will outperform the market's by 6-8 percentage points. In addition, the firm still guides for "substantial growth" in revenue and earnings in 2011 and a fair double-digit growth in operating profit.
