Universal Studios Hollywood, a US-based movie studio, has announced a partnership with SCVNGR, a gaming company, to promote its new animated comedy movie, HOP.
SCVNGR will offer HOP-themed fun and engagement games at the company-owned theme parks and certain brand partner locations.
Chris Mahl, SCVNGR senior vice president and chief brand alchemist, said, 'We worked closely with Universal Pictures to extend the fun, engaging elements of HOP to a wider audience through SCVNGR's social game layer, where friends can share with each other. This campaign is a great example of how the entertainment industry can leverage SCVNGR's game layer to easily reach a large audience with an engaged social graph.'
