Cheque account holders in the US have supported stronger banking regulations, according to a new survey commissioned by the Pew Health Group.
The survey showed that nearly three quarters of Americans with cheque accounts support stronger banking regulations. In addition, banking customers also want banks to better disclose terms, conditions and fees associated with their services.
According to the poll, all participants wanted more communication from their banks regarding their cheque accounts.
