M2 EQUITYBITES-May 16, 2011--Tryg appoints new CFO(C)2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

16 May 2011 - Danish insurer Tryg A/S (CPH: TRYG) said today it has appointed a new CFO and decided on a structural change within the company aimed at boosting profitability.

Tor Magne Lonnum, CFO and deputy CEO of Norwegian player Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OSL: GJF), will act as financial director and member of the executive management of Tryg as of September 1.

Lonnum is a state authorised public accountant from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and holds an executive MBA degree from the University of Bristol and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees.

In addition, Tryg has elected Per Fornander as member of the executive management in order to strengthen the focus on the expanding Swedish and Finnish markets. He has been director of Tryg's unit Moderna since February 2011.

Tryg's executive management will be shared between CEO Morten Hubbe, CFO Tor Magne Lonnum, group executive vice presidents Lars Bonde, Kjerstin Fyllingen, Truls Holm Olsen, Per Fornander and Birgitte Kartman. Jens Stener and Martin Boge Mikkelsen will step down from their position as group executive vice presidents.
