Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM), an India-based automaker, is revising its distribution plans for its joint venture with Fiat.

The company is taking this step because of the lower-than-expected sales at Fiat.

According to the new distribution plan, Fiat will have independent brand showrooms for its products. The Indian company will also continue selling Fiat-branded cars through its dealerships as well.
