-Renault to launch Fluence ZE in Malaysia.

Renault SA (EURONEXT: RNO), a France-based automaker, is launching its Fluence ZE in Malaysia in the first quarter of 2013.
The vehicle is to compete with the Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Nissan Leaf.
The model is equipped with a 160kg synchronous electric motor with rotor coil, offering 70kW at 3,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 226 Nm. It covers a range of 185km on a NEDC cycle, and reaches a top speed of 135km/h. It is 4.75 metres long and features entirely redesigned rear lights, including a strip of blue-tinted diamond shapes and a more open grille design, ABS and emergency brake assist, EBD, ESC, front airbags, front side airbags, cruise control and auto dual-zone air-conditioning.
