11 June 2012 - US bank holding company Beneficial Mutual Bancorp Inc (NASDAQ:BNCL) on Friday announced the appointment of Pamela M. Cyr as executive vice president and chief retail banking officer.

The move came as the company completed the rebranding and systems integration of SE Financial Corp, of which Cyr was president and chief executive, while Beneficial Mutual's executive vice president Denise Kassekert said she would part ways with the company on 15 June 2012.

Beneficial Mutual's president and chief executive Gerard P. Cuddy said the company's management team would get a boost from Cyr's skills and more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Beneficial Mutual, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a diversified financial services company that offers consumer and commercial services. The company is the parent of Beneficial Bank, founded in 1853, which is the oldest and biggest bank based in Philadelphia.

The bank, which serves individuals and businesses in the Delaware Valley, has more than 60 offices in the greater Philadelphia and South New Jersey regions. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Beneficial Insurance Services LLC, the lender provides insurance services, while through its other subsidiary Beneficial Advisors LLC, it offers wealth management services.
