1 November 2010 - Swedish company Orc Software AB (STO: ORC) said today that it will offer its Orc Trading solutions to the Brazilian market through broker Alpes Corretora de Cambio, without disclosing financial details.

Among the Orc Trading solutions available to Alpes' customers, the ones designed for high-frequency trading are expected to be in the greatest demand, the Swedish company said.

Hosted at Alpes or co-located at BM&FBOVESPA, the holding company that controls the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange, Orc Software's server-based technology, delivered as an "out-of-the-box" product, such as Orc Spreader for arbitrage and spreading, gives traders a low-latency trading solution that can be quickly deployed in the market, the Swedish company said.

Customers can also trade using Orc Trader, a click-trading product with pricing, risk management, and volatility management features.

Orc Trading is available both as deployed software and as a managed service.
