-Oracle starts shipping Linux web publishing tool.

Oracle Corp has commenced shipping Oracle WebDB 2.0 for Linux, a self-service, web publishing tool for end users and web developers. Oracle WebDB 2.0 allows users to build, manage and monitor database-driven web sites and is available immediately for free download at http://technet.oracle.com. In other news, Oracle has formed a new business group that will focus on product development, marketing and providing support for Oracle's Linux initiatives. Lastly, Oracle is making its existing XML infrastructure, including Oracle XML Parser, Oracle XML Class Generator, Oracles XML SQL Utilities and XSQL, available on the Linux platform.
