M2 EQUITYBITES-December 14, 2011--Moody's steadies Fingrid outlook(C)2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

14 December 2011 - Moody's Investors Service confirmed on Tuesday its long- and short-term credit ratings on Finnish transmission system operator Fingrid Oyj, and upgraded the outlook to "stable" from "negative".

The long-term senior unsecured debt rating on the company was confirmed at A1. The short-term rating is still Prime-1 (P-1).

The improved outlook reflects Fingrid's new strategy to raise tariffs in order to gradually grow its net profit to the allowed regulatory return by the end of 2015, according to Paul Lund, lead analysts for Fingrid at Moody's.
