Global Banking News - 14 November 2013

Minnesota Bank & Trust has strengthened its mortgage team with the addition of two lenders.

Ken Rife will work out of the bank's Edina location and its Blaine loan production office. Shawn Rancourt will work in the bank's Edina office.

Rife and Rancourt were most recently with Wells Fargo Mortgage (NYSE: WFC). Rife is an alum member of the Delta Chi fraternity and served as VP and treasurer. Rancourt has worked in several roles in the mortgage industry that have provided him with an extensive understanding of the mortgage process.

Bank president, Kate Kelly, said, 'We expanded into the mortgage market in 2012 to bring comprehensive, personal service to the increasingly complex mortgage loan process. Ken and Shawn are experienced lenders with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing clients a positive experience.'
