NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-November 4, 2011--Lemminkainen gets EUR20m add-on order at Finnish gold mine(C)2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

4 November 2011 - Finnish construction company Lemminkainen Oyj (HEL:LEM1S) announced today an add-on excavation order worth EUR20m at the Pahtavaara gold mine in northern Finland.

The deal was awarded to Lemminkainen's subsidiary Tolarock Oy by Sweden-based Lappland Goldminers AB (STO:GOLD).

The contract is for 2012-2013 and includes an option for further excavations in 2014. It covers the excavation of 7 km of work tunnels and about 900,000 tonnes of gold. In addition, Tolarock will reinforce work tunnels, excavate ventilation shafts and transport blast stone to the refinery.

The new order is a continuation of a three-year excavation contract, ending this year.
