Larson Electronics' , a company that carries an extensive line of explosion proof lights, hazardous location lights, intrinsically safe lights, oil rig lights and explosion proof tank lights, has added a portable hazardous area pedestal light with a 400 watt metal halide lamp to its range.

The product is designed for portability and safe operation in Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations, EPL-PM-1X400MH-100. It is also approved for wet locations and produces enough light to illuminate 25,000 square feet of workspace.

The light operates in hazardous locations with a portable Class 1 Division 2 source of illumination that does not compromise on power.
