KACO new energy, a solar inverter manufacturer with over five gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic (PV) inverters in the field, has launched new solar PV inverters with Ampt Mode.

The product has been launched to decrease the cost of commercial and utility-scale PV systems when deployed with DC optimisers from Ampt.

The company's inverters in Ampt Mode operate at up to 80 percent higher output power and dissipate less power per kilowatt than the same inverter in a normal mode.
