Indian Overseas Bank (532388.BO) (IOB.NS) is planning to meet global bond investors from April 7 to April 11 for marketing a potential bond sale, Dow Jones has reported citing two people familiar with the matter.

The bank has hired Citigroup Inc (NYSE: C), HSBC Holdings Plc (LSE: HSBA) (NYSE: HBC) (HKG: 0005), Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc (RBS) (LSE: RBS) (NYSE: RBS-PP), and Standard Chartered Plc (LSE: STAN) (STD.DE) (OTC: SCBFF) (HKG: 2888) to manage the transaction.

The bank will decide on whether to proceed with a transaction after the investor update meetings, the sources said. No further details on the planned issuance have been disclosed.
