BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-October 20, 2010--IFC hikes 2020 kangaroo bond by min AUD300m(C)2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

20 October 2010 - The International Finance Corp (IFC) will add no less than AUD300m (USD292m/EUR212m) to its existing bond issue maturing on 28 July 2020, Reuters said today citing the managers of the offer.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ), UBS (VTX:UBSN) and TD Securities are handling the issue.

The top-rated bond, which totals AUD500m before the add-on, pays a 5.75% coupon.

The final pricing is due tomorrow with a guidance of 75 basis points over the government bond with the same maturity, show the deal's terms.

Kangaroo bonds are Australian dollar-based securities issued by foreign entities in Australia.
