Florida Gaming Corporation (OTCBB: FGMG), a US-based gaming company, has received a license from the State of Florida to commence Class III gaming at Miami Jai-Alai, in Miami, US.

The company has acquired a USD87m Senior Term loan for five years for the new slot machine operations, which will be used to build the new facilities.

The company chairman, William B Collett, said, 'With our financing and licensure in place, we are moving forward with construction and marketing plans. We believe the expanded gaming products will allow Miami Jai-Alai to regain its position among South Florida's top entertainment destinations.'
