NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-September 22, 2010--Finnish Vaahto to supply EUR10m equipment to Indonesian paper maker(C)2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

22 September 2010 - Finnish industrial machinery company Vaahto Group Plc Oyj (HEL: WAT1S) said today that it will supply equipment, worth some EUR10m, to Indonesian paper maker PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk, or Fajar Paper.

The machinery is intended for the rebuild of the paper machine (PM) 7 at Fajar Paper's Jakarta mill.

Vaahto will supply two headboxes, extension of the fourdrinier with a Top-Former unit and an additional upper wire for the paper mill. In addition, a Vaahto Film-sizer and a hardnip calendar will be installed to the dry-end of the machine. The Finnish company will also provide installation supervision, training and start-up services.

The main part of the equipment will be manufactured in Vaahto's workshops in Hollola and Tampere in Finland.

After the modernisation, the Fajar PM7 will be able to reach a production speed of 1,100 meters per minute.

The line will be shut down for the rebuild in the later part of 2011.
