Ferrari, a subsidiary of Fiat SpA (NYSE: FIA) (ISE: IT0001976403), is believed to be developing a similar version of Fiat's MultiAir system.

It has been reported that the company has submitted a patent design and is interested in expanding the technology even further into the supercar domain.

The system would likely utilise a similar valvetrain setup to Fiat's electro-hydraulic actuator design.
