Nigerian underwriting firm, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance (CHI) Plc, has posted a profit.
The bank has posted a written premium of NGN4.14bn for the financial year ended December 31, 2012, as against NGN4.09bn reported in 2011. Profit before tax grew by 278 percent to NGN560.47m, as against NGN148.23m in the previous year.
Profit after tax was NGN395.21m, a growth rate of 158 percent from N153.39m recorded in 2011.
