19 January 2012 - Colombian lender Banco Popular SA intends to issue COP400bn (USD219m/EUR171m) of securities on 25 January, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.

The lender will sell 18-month bonds linked to the IBR interbank rate and 24-month securities linked to the DTF interbank rate, according to an e-mailed statement by Alianza Valores, which is handling the offers.

Banco Popular also will sell 36-month and 60-month inflation-linked securities, the broker said.

The initial debt offer will be worth COP250bn.
