City National Bank (NYSE: CYN) has said that it has named Angel Chen as a senior vice president within its Private Client Services division, and as team leader of its new satellite office in Pasadena.

In her new role, Ms Chen will serve high-net-worth families, individuals, entrepreneurs and professional service firms in the Pasadena region, offering services including credit, treasury and cash management, foreign exchange and private wealth management. She will also focus on high-net-worth clients in the Chinese community in the San Gabriel Valley. Ms Chen will report to Scott Witter, manager for Private Client Services in downtown Los Angeles. Michael Scott, a senior private client advisor, who joined the bank last year, will join her.

Prior to joining City National, Chen was with Bank of the West in Los Angeles where she worked as a senior private client advisor on the wealth management team. She has also worked at Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) and Union Bank of California in Los Angeles.
