Citigroup Inc (NYSE: C) has announced that its Global Transaction Services business, acting through Citibank NA, has been appointed by GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA (GOL) as a successor depositary for its American Depositary Receipt (ADR) programme.

Each ADR represents one preferred share, and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GOL.

Dirk Jones, global head of securities and fund services client sales management at Citigroup Inc, said, 'We are delighted that GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA has appointed Citi as successor depositary bank for its ADR programme.
