Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Limited (601318.SS) (HKG: 2318), the second largest life insurer by premiums in China, plans to establish a USD2bn medium term note programme, Dow Jones has reported, citing people familiar with the situation.
The Chinese insurer will meet investors in Hong Kong and Singapore on Tuesday, the sources said.
The company has hired Bank of America Merrill Lynch (NYSE: BAC) and HSBC Holdings Plc (LSE: HSBA) (NYSE: HBC) (HKG: 0005) to arrange the road shows, they added.
