The Brazilian subsidiary of Barclays Plc (LSE: BARC) is negotiating a partnership with Plural Capital Ltda, an asset manager founded by former partners in Banco BTG Pactual SA.

If the negotiations work out, both companies would cooperate on underwriting and selling equity transactions.

Banco Barclays SA would sell Plural Capital Ltda's Brazil deals outside the country.
