24 September 2010 a[euro]" US-based Bank of South Carolina Corp (NASDAQ:BKSC), the holding company for The Bank of South Carolina, said it would distribute USD0.10 (EUR0.074) per share as a quarterly dividend.

The dividend will be available from 29 October 2010. Shareholders of record on 8 October 2010 will be entitled to the distribution.

The dividend stays flat on the quarter. In August, Bank of South Carolina also declared a 10% stock dividend.

The company's net profit climbed 6.02% on the year to some USD729,000 (EUR542,000) in the second quarter of 2010.
