Banco Santander (SAN.MC) has announced that it has launched a new current account.

The bank said that the new account pays customers USD20 every month. The money will be paid if customers carry out day-to-day banking activities with the bank.

The bank said that the new extra20 current account would initially be introduced in markets across the Northeastern US.
