Global Banking News - 26 January 2011
The Bank of Japan's policy board has decided to keep its easy monetary policy unchanged, citing stable financial markets and positive economic outlook.
The policy board has unanimously decided to leave the unsecured overnight call loan rate in a zero percent to 0.1 percent range.
The BOJ has also kept its assessment of the broad economy unchanged for January, stating that it 'still shows signs of a moderate recovery, but the recovery seems to be pausing.'
