-BMO Capital Markets names CIB chief.

BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-March 1, 2012--BMO Capital Markets names CIB chief(C)2012 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

1 March 2012 - BMO Capital Markets, part of Bank of Montreal (TSE:BMO; NYSE:BMO), said on Wednesday it had appointed Darryl White to lead its global corporate and investment banking (CIB) business, effective 31 March.

White will report to CEO Tom Milroy and will become member of the executive and operating committee, the company said in a statement.

As CIB head, White will oversee debt and stock underwriting, corporate loans, project finance and M&A advisory activities.

He has been part of BMO Capital Markets' team since 1994 having played various roles, most recently as CIB head for Montreal, deputy CIB head for Canada and global manager of equity capital markets.
