The Australian central bank is said to be looking to trim down the value of the local currency.

Figures from the central bank showed that it was looking to trim down a rebounding Aussie dollar, as it was among the biggest threats to an economic recovery as a mining slowdown deepens.

Analysts believe that they are seeing a shift in policy from the central bank that is looking to sell off Australian dollar holdings.
