-AeroMechanical Services Announces New Contract.

AeroMechanical Services Ltd (TSX Venture: AMA), a Canada-based company that provides proprietary technological solutions and services for the aviation industry, has entered into a contract with a customer to install an Automated Flight Information Reporting System (AFIRS) 228 onboard Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
The company is installing the AFIRS 228 on two Boeing 777-200 aircraft. It features engine trending, airframe and engine exceedance reporting, and round-the-clock connectivity between aircraft and operations using the Iridium satellite communications system.
Bill Tempany, the company chairman and chief executive officer, said, 'We are pleased to see interest in the new generation of AFIRS from current customers who use the AFIRS 220. The Boeing 777 is equipped with leading technology and the AFIRS 228 will enhance the aircraft's capabilities and the information the customer can retrieve off the aircraft.'
