Abacus International, a Singapore-based travel facilitator, has announced offering global distribution system (GDS) for electronic ticketing with Airphil Express, an airline based in Philippines.

The company will offer GDS for the airline through its exclusive Abacus Electronic Transitional Automated Ticketing (eTAT) platform.

Cesar Chiong, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Airphil Express, said 'We are excited about partnering with Abacus on the eTAT platform. In our re-branding and expansion efforts, we look to gain an edge in market competitiveness, and this solution allows us to be more efficient, increase productivity and focus our efforts in building stronger relations with our customers to drive even higher revenue and loads.'
