PARAMOUNT PICTURES PROMOTES JOHN NOGAWSKI TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
 AND GENERAL SALES MANAGER OF PARAMOUNT DOMESTIC TELEVISION
 HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Paramount Pictures announced today that John Nogawski has been promoted to senior vice president and general sales manager of Paramount Domestic Television.
 In making the announcement, Joel Berman, executive vice president of the division commented: "John has been a driving force in the company. He has done a superb job managing the New York office and representing Paramount on the East Coast. By promoting John, we recognize the talent that exists inside our sales organization. We look forward to building a prosperous future together."
 As senior vice president, Nogawski is responsible for overseeing the sales force of Paramount syndication which produces and distributes off-network and first-run series, including: "The Arsenio Hall Show," "Entertainment Tonight," "Hard Copy," "The Maury Povich Show," "Star Trek: The Next Generation," and the new "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "The Untouchables." Previously based in New York, Nogawski will relocate to Los Angeles. He succeeds R. Gregory Meidel, who left the company earlier this year.
 Nogawski was vice president, eastern manager since 1990. Prior to that he served as western division manager in Los Angeles in the same area. Nogawski began his career at Paramount in 1983 and joined the sales staff of the Domestic Television Division in 1985 as account executive.
 Nogawski holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Utah.
