(SPO) WORLD WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP -TURKISH ATHLETE WINS SILVER IN WOMEN'S 63 KG OVERALL.

ANTALYA, Sep 21, 2010 (TUR) -- Turkey's Sibel Simsek has clinched an overall silver in women's 63 kg at the World Weightlifting Championship in Antalya, Turkey.

Simsek lifted 130 kilograms in her first try in clean and jerk on Monday, to total 241 kilograms with a silver-winner 111kg lift in women's 63 kg snatch earlier today.

Kazakhstan's Maiya Maneza won gold medal in women's 63kg clean and jerk with a world record breaker 143 kilograms. Maneza was also overall first with 248 kilograms.

Colombian Esther Nisida Palomeque Valoyes lifted 134 kg to win the silver in clean and jerk while North Korean Ae Jong O lifted 130 kg to win the bronze medal.

China's Xiaofang Ouyang was overall third with 241 kilograms.
